PantaTec ULTIMATE is a cleaning additive that, due to its physical characteristics, binds greasy, oily, etc. contaminations. Why use PantaTec?

PantaTec ULTIMATE is a blasting additive that, when added steel grits, steel shots or stainless steel grits in wheel blasting machines, cleans the surface from oil and grease contaminations, thus improving blasting efficiency. It efficiently removes dirt from the blasting material, machine and part. Then PantaTec ULTIMATE additive can be removed from the system along with any solids generating by using an abrasive cleaner or dust separator. The clean blasting material left in the machine can more efficiently finish the surface. By adding PantaTec ULTIMATE, you can skip washing, cleaning, and removing oil and grease before or after blasting, and thus the part is ready for further working. You can apply the paint or varnish directly to the surface. The result is a firm and reproducible process without the need for the usual surface preparation, washing & drying. Recognized results:

The positive results already achieved with PantaTec in practice have been scientifically confirmed by the famous Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials (IFAM). During the detailed tests, particular emphasis was placed on the application under different conditions and the durability of anti-corrosion coatings.

The test samples were steel plates that were first cleaned and completely degreased. Then the samples were contaminated in a specified way with oils and greases normally used in the EAB manufacturing process. After that, the test samples were cleaned using a mix of steel grits and the PantaTec additive.

Subsequent tests confirmed the effectiveness of the additive and its outstanding effect on surface quality.

Process reliability:

It provides a blasting material free of grease and oil, thereby improving the smooth and free flow of the material, the reliability of the process and the overall quality. Greases and oils no longer reach the filters, do not contaminate them any more, which increases their service life. The blasting material is cleaned more efficiently, therefore the distribution of grains will allow a more optimal surface roughness and cleaner working conditions.
